Here is an antenna shown mounted to a typical bracket bracket. You just slot it in and then put the washer and nut underneath and screw it tight. But this bracket is no use for mounting to a pipe mast like the ones for television antennas.
What I do with these brackets is add a piece of metal which you can find at hardware stores, it is used to strengthen cupboards or something. Then I drill two holes and bolt it to the antenna bracket.
This means that it can be attached to a typical clamp used to support television antenna masts. Just put another one of these at the top of the mast. (Rusty pipe is used as example I have no more free masts)
Then you can put this bracket on the two bolt threads and bolt it on. Use washers if necessary on both sides also.
