Using the Automatic Identification System, the AIS GR site provides live ship movements from the port of Piraeus, Greece. The area covered is generally at a range of 30-60 nautical miles from Piraeus.
The AIS GR site is a research site intended to validate the range of AIS technology and test related internet technologies. Therefore there is no warranty whatsoever on the usefulness of the site or data provided on the site. AIS data has many limitations.
